The staff at Davis Park is a group of committed individuals dedicated to serving God, His Kingdom and His family through daily service and relationships.
Senior Evangelist — Mike Crowley, Jr Mike Crowley has been with Davis Park Church of Christ for over 12 years serving as Pulpit Minister and Senior Evangelist. His easy style of communicating God’s Word in a relevant and practical manner continues to touch lives each week. But, Mike’s private passion is in one-on-one Bible studies where he shows God’s truths to people who are seeing Him for the first time.
Mike’s educational experience is from Lubbock Christian University where he graduated with a B.A. in Bible in 1991. God has also blessed him in marriage to Rut, of Rosario Argentina, and two wonderful children, Andrea and Byron. In his free time, Mike enjoys activities of all varieties, including fishing, airsoft, camping, scuba diving, boating and, most recently, training for a triathlon.
Outreach Evangelist – William (Buddy) Gray Buddy Gray has been serving as Davis Park’s Outreach Evangelist for over 8 years. He enjoys teaching and looks forward to the times when he has the opportunity to preach the Word of God. Buddy’s true gifts stem from his compassionate and generous nature. Whether it’s spending time with grieving families as a local chaplain or organizing our latest outreach event, Buddy enjoys helping others. Buddy has developed our own Community Response Team which serves communities in times of crisis, throughout the nation, by helping people begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
Buddy has a B.A. in Management and Marketing from Abilene Christian University (1978), but returned to school to receive his M.S. in Biblical and Related Studies (2000) from Abilene Christian University. He & Krista have been married for 20 years and were blessed with the adoption of Matthew seven years ago. What little free time Buddy has is usually spent enjoying the company of his family and friends. Buddy likes to camp, swim and fish.
Youth Evangelist – Aaron Scott Aaron is our most recent addition to the staff at Davis Park Church of Christ joining the team in 2007 after his graduation from Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. His degree & experience in Youth Ministry was quickly put to the test as he serves over 60 Jr. High & Sr. High teens on a weekly basis. He relates easily with the teens teaching them about the truths of God’s Word while challenging them to deepen their commitment to Him and to each other.
Aaron is a country boy at heart who enjoys bowling, cooking, singing and being outdoors. His easy-going nature and open personality has helped him quickly bond with not only the teens, but their parents and the rest of the congregation as well. He has adopted Davis Park as his family and quite literally when he married one of our own, Sarah, this past August.
Special Project Coordinator – Monica Baker Monica has been working in our office almost as long as she’s been a member here at Davis Park. Her degree in Advertising and experience in marketing as well as being a minister’s wife for 10 years gives her unique qualifications and perspective. Though she could easily work full-time, her commitment to her two young children requires a flexible schedule and delicate balance. Monica handles special projects, promotions and graphic design.
Office Administrator & Bookkeeper – Sheila Smith Sheila’s years experience in the professional world along with her love of design and drive to learn new skills makes her an invaluable asset to our office. She’s always been involved in almost every aspect of church life and activities – now she just gets paid for doing what she loves most.
Sheila handles the finances for Davis Park as well as overseeing office operations. If you want something done, take it to Sheila.
